Zone Construction Manager
About this role
Role: Zone Construction Manager for Collection Developments' residential projects. You will oversee day-to-day construction in an assigned residential zone, coordinate trades, monitor progress, and ensure quality and safety. The position targets experienced professionals with a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and at least 10 years' Lagos-based multi-building residential experience.
What you would do
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities in the assigned residential zone.
- Monitor the zone's look-ahead programme and escalate any delay risks to the Construction Manager.
- Coordinate all subcontract trades within the zone and optimise sequencing to prevent clashes.
- Attend daily site coordination meetings and report the zone's status, issues and requests to the Construction Manager.
- Produce and submit a daily progress report for the zone.
- Enforce quality and safety standards in the zone, supporting site engineers and QC inspectors, and report incidents to the HSE Manager.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including Lagos multi-building residential projects
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction, flat slab systems, blockwork, and general building works
- Experience managing large teams across multiple concurrent structures
- COREN registration or NIOB membership is beneficial
- Ability to coordinate with site engineers on sequencing and resolve design queries or site conditions
