About this role

A YouTube Editor is needed to edit long and short form content for a Lagos-based boutique agency, maintaining the brand’s visual style and language. The role involves collaboration with the production team and talent, with a hybrid work setup (remote plus occasional in-person meetings in Lagos).

What you would do

• Edit long-form and short-form videos from raw footage.
• Add captions, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Maintain a consistent visual style across all content.
• Deliver videos on a set weekly or monthly cadence.
• Organise and manage footage and project files.

• At least 2 years of video editing experience, preferably with YouTube or long-form content.
• Strong storytelling, pacing and visual editing skills.
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve).
• Understanding of YouTube formats and audience retention.
• Ability to edit talking-head, interview, lifestyle, documentary and brand content.
• Knowledge of sound design, music selection, colour grading and captions.
