What you would do

• Supervise daily workshop operations and assigned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate technicians, artisans, mechanics, fabricators, welders and support personnel.
• Plan and allocate workshop jobs according to priorities, manpower, materials and equipment availability.
• Supervise repair, overhaul, fabrication, assembly, dismantling and testing of mechanical equipment and components.
• Ensure work is performed according to approved procedures, drawings, specifications and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect completed work and ensure required quality standards are achieved.

• HND, OND, technical certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Fabrication or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in workshop supervision, mechanical maintenance, fabrication, equipment repair or industrial operations.
• Experience supervising technicians, artisans, contractors and workshop support personnel.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, workshop machinery, fabrication, fitting, machining and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of workshop HSE requirements and safe use of machinery and tools.
