Well Intervention Specialist role within a Nigerian consultancy offering resources and human capital for all sectors of the economy. What you would do
- Plan and review well intervention activities and provide solutions for well integrity issues.
- Support routine well intervention, well diagnostics, and downhole remediation activities.
- Develop detailed operational procedures for intervention operations.
- Evaluate and trial new well completion and intervention technologies.
- Work with Drilling and Frac Service teams on wellhead transitions, barriers, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Monitor well and field completion performance and integrity using industry-recognised software.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
- 10-15 years of experience in rigless well intervention operations.
- Strong experience in wireline, slickline, and coiled tubing design, planning, and execution.
- Experience with sour gas, unconventional, HPHT, tight gas, or tight oil wells is highly desirable.
- Proven experience with completion design, tubing movement, coiled tubing, wireline, slickline, hydraulic fracturing, and flowback operations.
- Strong knowledge of wellhead and downhole completion design, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
