Well Integrity Technician
About this role
Marquise Energy Limited seeks a Well Integrity Technician for Lagos. The role involves coordinating and delivering well integrity and intervention programmes, working with the WE/CWI Operations team and other asset teams to optimise well performance while ensuring safety and compliance.
What you would do
- Coordinate, plan and generate procedures for all well integrity operations and well intervention work
- Plan and coordinate service company involvement and personnel requirements
- Work closely with Petroleum, Production and Operations to track well performance and optimise well design
- Coordinate implementation and management of operations activities, ensuring full integration with the WE/CWI Operations team and other asset teams
- Coordinate, operate and implement well programmes (completion, workover, slickline, wellhead, coiled tubing, E-line, fishing, etc.) and End of Well Reports prepared by Completions/WO Engineers
- Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure EHS compliance, supervising contractors to meet high technical and EHS standards
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or higher national diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a relevant technical discipline; specific training in well barrier management; MSc preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience spanning both office-based engineering and field supervisory positions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex, high-risk drilling environments (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Wellview, Compass or related engineering and well design software, and Microsoft Office
- Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
- IWCF or IADC Well Control certification (Level 4)
