What you would do
- Manage the project and team
- Assess conformity of the service with procedures and operating instructions
- Oversee high-risk well operations including well kills, complex fishing strings, and reservoir interface operations
- Plan daily workover activities
- Ensure operations comply with OERNL standards, HSEQ procedures and good oilfield practice
- Review deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or a related engineering discipline
- MSc in petroleum, geology, or a related engineering field is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in high-risk drilling environments is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Wellview data software, Compass or related engineering and well design software, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), IWCF (International Well Control Forum) or IADC Well Cap Level 4 certification, renewed every two years
