Warehouse Officer
About this role
A warehouse officer role based in Lagos for Aquatix Pharmaceutical Industry. The role involves handling incoming materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper storage and documentation of materials across production and warehouse processes.
What you would do
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products and document them
- Maintain inventory records using Excel and approved systems
- Prepare stock reports, summaries and reconciliation records
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products
- Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions
- Monitor stock levels, batch numbers, expiry dates and material status labels
- Segregate approved, quarantined, rejected and returned materials
- Conduct routine stock counts and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure GMP and GSP compliance
- Report damaged materials and other warehouse issues promptly
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control and warehouse documentation
- Understanding of GMP and GSP
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records and perform physical stock counts
- Experience with receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of materials
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Familiarity with inventory management software is an added advantage
