Warehouse Officer

Aquatix Pharmaceutical Limited in Lagos is hiring a Warehouse Officer for a full-time role at the Ikeja office. The company is a Nigerian-owned pharmaceutical producer with a presence nationwide and a range of registered products. The role involves managing stock, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining inventory records in line with GMP and GSP guidelines. The position requires handling incoming materials, issuing materials to production, and conducting stock counts and audits.

What you would do

• Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries and reconciliation records
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products under specified conditions
• Report damaged materials, stock discrepancies and warehouse issues promptly
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and other approved systems
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and compliance with GMP and GSP requirements
• Ensure proper segregation of approved, quarantined, rejected and returned materials
• Receive, inspect, identify and document incoming materials and products
• Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions
• Conduct routine stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels, batch numbers, expiry dates and material status labels

What they are asking for

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management, stock reconciliation, data entry and reporting
• Familiarity with receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials and finished pharmaceutical products
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control and warehouse documentation
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in warehouse operations (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a team
• Experience with inventory management software is an added advantage
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and perform physical stock counts
• Understanding of GMP and GSP
