Warehouse Lead

About this role

A Warehouse Lead to oversee warehouse operations across Sagamu and Kano, focused on safe and accurate handling of sesame and related commodities. The role manages a Kano-based team and coordinates with quality, inventory, procurement and logistics to meet operational and quality standards.

What you would do

• Supervise the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Officer in Kano, set expectations and coach staff to maintain standards across hubs.
• Control receiving, storage, stacking and dispatch of sesame and related commodities at both hubs.
• Ensure warehouse layout, stacking patterns and storage conditions protect product quality and enable efficient handling.
• Coordinate with Quality, Inventory, Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of commodities and align with schedules.
• Resolve cross-functional warehouse issues such as hold status, lot readiness and dispatch scheduling.
• Maintain warehouse discipline, hygiene, security and documentation; ensure records are complete and audit-ready.

What they are asking for

• BSc/HND in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness or related field.
• Relevant warehouse/inventory management certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control desirable.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in warehouse/store management, including multi-site operations, preferably in agro-commodity, food processing or FMCG sectors.
