Waiters / Waitresses

About this role

A waiters and waitresses role based in Lagos for Villa Park Hotels and Suites, handling food and beverage service across restaurant, bar, room service and events. The position targets candidates with hospitality experience and relevant training.

What you would do

• Use the POS system for orders and coordinate with the cashier.
• Welcome guests, present menus and explain food and beverage options.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly and check guest satisfaction.
• Prepare tables and service stations and maintain cleanliness during shifts.
• Take accurate orders and relay special requests or allergies to kitchen or bar.
• Assist with room service and banquet setup and refer guest concerns to a supervisor.

What they are asking for

• Minimum of SSCE; hospitality training or OND is an advantage.
• Familiarity with order-taking, basic POS use and service hygiene.
• At least 1 year of food and beverage service experience, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Good communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
