About this role

EMCR is a non-profit organisation focused on improving healthcare access for economically disadvantaged communities in Nigeria. The Volunteer Project Coordinator role is for women currently living in Abuja who want to contribute their time and skills to healthcare delivery, clinical research, education, technology and community development. The organisation conducts clinical research and uses technology to improve primary healthcare access. This position is unpaid and intended for volunteers to support EMCR’s humanitarian and healthcare programmes.

What you would do

• Coordinate project activities for volunteer projects
• Assist with planning and execution of healthcare and community development initiatives
• Support project teams with administrative tasks and scheduling
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure programme goals are met
• Help monitor and report on project progress and outcomes
• Liaise with stakeholders and communities to promote programme participation
• Assist in data collection and documentation for clinical research or education efforts
• Support capacity-building activities and training for volunteers
• Contribute to the development of educational or outreach materials
• Support the organisation in maintaining relationships with community partners
