About this role
Kaplo Africa is seeking a videographer and video editor for its Lagos operations. The role involves producing and editing video content for the company and its clients, supporting media production across projects. It targets candidates with relevant education and hands-on experience in videography and editing.
What you would do
- Produce and edit video content for Kaplo Africa and client projects.
- Operate camera equipment and manage lighting and sound during shoots.
- Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
- Develop and convey concepts into compelling visual stories.
- Support live streaming of video and audio in real time.
- Collaborate with teams on media production and content delivery.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Film/Media Studies, Fine Arts or related field; or a diploma/certificate in videography/digital media.
- 2-3 years of professional videography, video editing or media production experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Must own a camera; knowledge of camera operation, lighting and sound recording.
- Strong storytelling ability and English language skills (written and spoken).
- Understanding of YouTube algorithms and optimisation; experience with live streaming video and audio in real time.
