About this role
Mixta Africa in Lagos seeks a full-time Videographer and Video Editor to plan, shoot and edit video content for its projects and brand initiatives. The role involves operating cameras, setting up lighting and audio, and collaborating with marketing to translate commercial strategy into visual storytelling for both digital and offline channels. It focuses on creating content that informs, engages and supports sales, including product explainers, testimonials and campaign videos. The position is on-site in Victoria, Lagos State, Nigeria. Applicants should have extensive video production experience, particularly in commercial or corporate settings, and be able to work with cross-functional teams.
What you would do
- Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video content across developments
- Produce product explainer and investment-focused videos
- Create customer testimonials, resident stories, and campaign videos
- Support product launches, campaigns, partnerships, diaspora initiatives, webinars and PR
- Capture aerial footage (where licensed) and conduct interviews
- Produce event highlights and construction progress updates
- Develop schedules, manage equipment, organise media assets and coordinate external vendors
- Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
- Repurpose long-form content for platform-specific formats
- Support CEO thought leadership, CSR, internal communications and recruitment branding
What they are asking for
- Degree or certification in Media, Film, Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred)
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut
- Experience with professional camera systems, audio, lighting; DaVinci Resolve and Drone operations preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial visual storytelling aimed at influencing buyer behaviour
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- 5 to 10 years of experience producing commercial and corporate video content
- Experience in real estate, hospitality or lifestyle sectors is advantageous
