Videographer & Digital Content Production Officer

About this role

The role is for a Videographer and Digital Content Production Officer to document aquaculture operations and create engaging online content. What you would do

• Plan and film daily activities at hatchery, nursery, feed mill and other facilities.
• Record fish breeding, feeding, grading, harvesting, packaging and delivery processes.
• Capture photos and videos of fish and products for educational and promotional use.
• Create educational videos on African catfish farming techniques.
• Film staff activities, demonstrations, tours and interviews.
• Produce original content featuring managers and technical staff.
• Maintain and organise filming equipment and digital content library.
• Travel between Kaduna and Lafia as needed for content production.
• Edit short and long form videos for social platforms and publish content.
• Assist with customer inquiries, engagement and promotional campaigns.

• ONC, OND, HND, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Media Production, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Marketing or related field.
• Ability to record high-quality video using smartphone or digital camera.
• Familiarity with editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
• Understanding of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp Business.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work in an active farm environment and reside in Kaduna.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Desirable: experience in agricultural/educational or product marketing videos; photography or graphic design skills; familiarity with social media analytics; Hausa language skills; interest in aquaculture and agricultural entrepreneurship.
