About this role

Role: Scriptwriter / Screenwriter for ETAVOD Video Scriptwriting Services Limited in Kuola, Ibadan. The position is primarily onsite, with some remote work where applicable, and involves researching topics, turning information into scripts for different formats and audiences, and supporting content development for company and client projects.

What you would do

• Conduct thorough topic research and collect reliable sources.
• Create engaging scripts, screenplays, narrations, and related video content.
• Review source materials including videos, audio, and documents.
• Develop stories with clear structure, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Revise scripts in response to feedback.
• Ensure scripts are accurate, clear, original, and grammatically correct.

What they are asking for

• Degree, HND, OND, or relevant qualification in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Creative Writing, Film/TV, Theatre Arts, Communications, or related field.
• Previous scriptwriting or screenwriting experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong research and information-gathering ability.
• Ability to turn raw information into compelling narratives.
• Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
