Van Sales Representative
About this role
A Van Sales Representative is needed to manage a mapped route and act as the face of Guinness to retailers and wholesalers on that route. The role involves getting Guinness products into outlets, meeting billing and volume targets, upselling where possible, and ensuring timely deliveries. You will build relationships with bar owners and retailers, collect payments and empties, and report on market activity and competitor moves. The position requires self-management of a delivery van route, tracking via sales apps, and maintaining point-of-sale materials in outlets. What you would do
- Own a mapped route and represent Guinness to retailers and wholesalers on it
- Ensure Guinness products are in outlets and hit billing and volume targets
- Identify upsell opportunities and increase range in shops
- Operate deliveries on schedule to ensure on-time, in-full arrivals
- Collect empties and reconcile them accurately
- Collect payments promptly and accurately
- Know customers well, check in, solve problems and foster repeat business
- Monitor market activity and report on competitors, pricing and effectiveness
- Ensure POS materials and promotions are present in outlets
- Follow route and schedule with high accuracy

- OND minimum
- 2 to 3 years of selling experience; FMCG or beverages is a plus
- Valid driving licence and real driving experience for operating a delivery van
- Comfort using sales apps such as FMP, Amplify or Omnione for orders and tracking
- Strong time management and ability to plan and prioritise your day
