Utilities Team Leader
About this role
The Utilities Team Leader at International Breweries oversees safe, efficient operation of all utility systems that support brewery production. This includes steam generation, refrigeration, compressed air, water and wastewater treatment, power distribution, CO2 systems, and related services. The role focuses on ensuring utilities are available at required quality and cost while driving energy, water, and environmental performance improvements. What you would do
- Lead and coordinate operation of all brewery utility plants and equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, chilled water, compressed air, electricity, treated water, and CO2.
- Monitor utility performance and take corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Develop and implement operating procedures and work instructions.
- Supervise utilities operators, technicians, and contractors.
- Plan shifts, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Coach and develop team members through training and mentoring.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Participate in shutdown planning and execution.
- Lead energy and water efficiency initiatives and track KPIs.

- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- 5-10 years of engineering or utilities experience in brewery, beverage, food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing.
