Trees Execution Specialist
About this role
Trees Execution Specialist is a role within One Acre Fund's Nigeria programme, focusing on data-driven operational management for seedling production, enrolment and distribution, and expansion into new states. The Nigeria programme serves over 100,000 farmers in Niger state through its Core, Retail and Agroforestry initiatives, and the role may involve regional field operations across one or two states.
What you would do
- Own and maintain data management protocols for seedling production, enrolment and distribution.
- Design and maintain dashboards to track real-time KPIs, inventory, and performance.
- Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, forecast capacity and drive data-informed decisions across field teams.
- Ensure data integrity, standardisation and reporting across all sites and regional teams.
- Lead expansion mapping and market-entry activities, including nursery feasibility assessments and launch playbooks.
- Identify and implement field technology and process improvements; audit field operations to eliminate waste in nursery management and logistics.

- 3+ years of relevant professional work experience, including leading teams.
- Experience delivering field-level projects and managing multi-state initiatives.
- University degree in Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Agroforestry, International Development, or related quantitative/operational field.
- Preferred: Project Management Certification.
- Strong data analysis and dashboarding skills with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, or advanced Excel.
- Experience with mobile data collection platforms (CommCare, ODK, Kobo) and rural operations management (logistics/inventory).
