Travel Consultant/Visa Officer

About this role

Based in Lagos, this role is for a Travel Consultant with visa officer duties at ALML Group's online travel agency. You will promote and book travel arrangements for individual and business clients and handle visa-related tasks to support client satisfaction and growth of the client base.

What you would do

• Follow up on travel requests from social platforms.
• Respond to ticket requests from B2B and B2C partners.
• Identify promo routes and ticket deals to promote.
• Perform daily pricing comparisons of itineraries against identified competitors to create a price positioning report.
• Explain visa rules, fees, required steps and processing times to travellers, and coordinate with embassies, consulates and application centres.
• Manage and grow the B2B/B2C travel partner database and follow up on leads to convert.

What they are asking for

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Travel Consultant (B2B/B2C).
• Excellent knowledge of Amadeus reservation system.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong sales skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Well versed in domestic and international travel, including business/holidays, and group or individual travel.
• BSc or HND in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism or Business is an added advantage; personal travel experience preferred.
