VanRentalsNG is a fast-growing inland transport and logistics provider seeking a results-driven Marketing Officer / Transport Agent to join the team in Adamawa. The role focuses on identifying and engaging businesses that require haulage and transportation services, using knowledge of the local market to build relationships with potential clients such as manufacturers, distributors, traders, farmers and wholesalers.

What you would do

• Identify and develop new customers requiring haulage and transportation services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and potential clients
• Visit companies, markets, warehouses, factories and other potential client locations to promote the services
• Identify haulage opportunities within Adamawa and neighbouring states
• Negotiate transportation rates and service terms professionally
• Represent the company professionally in dealings with clients and partners

• SSCE/OND/HND/bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, logistics, transport management or related field
• Experience in marketing, logistics, haulage, transportation or sales is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of the Adamawa business environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, confident and target oriented; comfortable with field marketing and meeting potential clients
• Access to a smartphone, ability to use WhatsApp and social media for business development, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
