VanRentalsNG is seeking a Marketing Officer / Transport Agent to join its Adamawa team. The role focuses on identifying new customers for haulage and transportation services and building relationships with businesses and potential clients in Adamawa and neighbouring states. The ideal candidate understands the local business environment and can engage with manufacturers, distributors, traders, farmers, wholesalers and other organisations needing transport services.

What you would do

• Identify and develop new customers requiring haulage, logistics and transportation services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and potential clients
• Visit companies, markets, warehouses, factories and other potential client locations to promote services
• Identify transport/haulage opportunities within Adamawa and neighbouring states
• Negotiate transportation rates and service terms professionally
• Represent the company professionally in dealings with clients and business partners

• Qualification: SSCE/OND/HND/bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management or related field
• Previous experience in marketing, logistics, haulage, transportation or sales is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of the Adamawa business environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, confident and target oriented; comfortable with field marketing and meeting potential clients physically
• Access to a smartphone and ability to use WhatsApp and social media for business development; able to work independently with minimal supervision
