Training Officer

Smart Partners in Lagos seeks a Training Officer to support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes to enhance employee skills and performance. What you would do

• Identify training and development needs through performance reviews, skills-gap analysis, and business requirements.
• Develop and coordinate training programmes, workshops, seminars, and learning sessions.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, assessments, and other learning resources.
• Facilitate training sessions or coordinate external trainers and subject-matter experts.
• Manage training schedules, logistics, venues, attendance, and participant communication.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and post-training reviews.

What they are asking for

• B.Sc. or HND in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 4-5 years' experience in training, learning and development, HR, or a related role.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of training needs analysis and learning evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and virtual training platforms.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
