About this role

DP World is seeking a Trainer to manage and deliver training sessions for delivery officers, with a focus on articulated truck driving safety, vehicle operation and regulatory compliance. What you would do

• Conduct instructional training sessions for articulated truck drivers on safe and efficient driving techniques
• Develop and update a comprehensive training curriculum and materials
• Instruct new drivers on vehicle controls, safety features and company policies
• Offer refresher courses for experienced drivers and address identified skill gaps
• Assess driver performance through practical tests and feedback sessions
• Provide mentorship and guidance to drivers on driving techniques and hazard management
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with traffic laws and defensive driving
• Familiarise drivers with technical aspects of articulated trucks and maintenance procedures
• Maintain records of training activities, assessments and driver progress
• Collaborate with management to align training with organisational goals and report outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in any of the Social Sciences or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience training articulated truck drivers
• Experience in transport and logistics advantageous
• Certifications in training and development, instructional design or related area advantageous
