Trainer Driver - Lagos

What you would do
- Conduct instructional training sessions for articulated truck drivers on safe and efficient driving techniques.
- Design and update a comprehensive training curriculum and materials.
- Instruct new drivers on vehicle controls, safety features and company procedures.
- Offer refresher courses for experienced drivers and target areas needing improvement.
- Assess driver performance through practical tests and feedback sessions.
- Document candidates and shortlist for on-road testing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to drivers on driving techniques and safety.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with traffic laws.
- Ensure drivers are familiar with vehicle maintenance, inspections and emergency procedures.
- Maintain records of training activities and generate progress reports.

- Bachelor's degree in any Social Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience training articulated truck drivers.
- Skills or certifications in transport and logistics, warehouse, freight forwarding, manufacturing; certification in training and development or instructional design is advantageous.
