Trainee Technical Support Engineer
About this role
The company is hiring for a full-time Trainee Technical Support Engineer role in Shomolu, Lagos, targeted at smart and motivated graduates. The position offers hands-on training in the installation, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial printing and imaging equipment under senior engineers.
What you would do
- Participate in intensive training on the Amsky CTP system (thermal/UV/flexo) and Liyu large format printing equipment
- Assist in equipment installation, calibration and maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and software issues
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Maintain service reports and equipment records
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (mandatory)
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and understand electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Windows OS (graphics/RIP software is a plus)
- Willingness to learn, travel and work in a technical environment
- Good communication skills
