Trade Finance Analyst

Role: Trade Finance Analyst based in Lagos for Aldelia Limited. The position targets an organised, analytical professional with experience in trade finance, commodity trading, financial analysis, transaction underwriting and supply chain operations to manage financed commodity trades and related processes.

What you would do

• Identify viable commodity trade opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence on suppliers, buyers and market conditions.
• Review financing requests and determine transaction structures and funding needs.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of financed trade transactions.
• Coordinate procurement with approved suppliers and monitor delivery timelines.
• Ensure documentation of quality certificates and inspection reports.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, agriculture, supply chain management or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, commodity trading, credit analysis, structured trade finance or supply chain finance.
• Strong understanding of trade finance, commodity trading, transaction structuring and working capital financing.
• Experience in financial analysis, commercial due diligence, transaction underwriting and preparation of investment or credit memoranda.
• Knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management and quality assurance processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
