TID Intern (Technology & Innovation)

About this role

A junior role for an entry-level candidate to support MECA's Technology and Innovation Department with technology, digital, creative and innovation tasks. Designed for graduates or individuals with interest in tech, digital content creation, graphic design and social media management.

What you would do

• Provide basic technical and digital support to staff
• Assist with setup, maintenance and organisation of computers and digital tools
• Support identifying and implementing technology solutions to improve processes
• Research emerging technologies and digital tools relevant to the organisation
• Create graphics, presentations, flyers, banners and other visual materials
• Support management of social media platforms, content calendar and posting

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Digital Technology, Graphic Design or related field
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and troubleshooting
• Good graphic design skills with Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator
• Basic knowledge of social media management across major platforms
• Understanding of digital content creation and social media trends
• Good communication, teamwork, organisation and willingness to learn
