Mikano International Limited in Lagos is recruiting for a full-time Tendering and Design Electrical Engineer. The role involves overseeing design, development and execution of construction projects to meet technical, safety, quality and budget requirements while delivering cost-effective engineering solutions. The successful candidate will manage sustainable engineering projects, conduct feasibility studies, prepare designs and blueprints, assess risks and costs, provide technical guidance, supervise staff, liaise with stakeholders, monitor progress, and maintain project documentation and budgets. The position targets candidates with a background in civil or electrical-related engineering and experience in infrastructure projects, with proficiency in design and project management software. What you would do

• Manage, design, develop and maintain sustainable engineering projects and infrastructure.
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare designs and blueprints per project specifications.
• Assess project risks, material needs, labour requirements and cost estimates.
• Provide technical guidance and develop practical solutions to project challenges.
• Supervise, mentor and coordinate project staff while liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and prepare regular status reports.
• Prepare and maintain technical files, project records, drawings and documentation.
• Manage project budgets, procure equipment and materials and ensure efficient resource use.
