Tendering and Design Electrical Engineer
About this role
A full‑time Tendering and Design Electrical Engineer role based in Lagos, for Mikano International Limited, a Nigerian company active in power generation, real estate and construction. The position focuses on ensuring projects meet technical, quality, safety and budget requirements while delivering cost‑effective engineering solutions. The role involves overseeing design, development and execution of construction projects and coordinating with clients, contractors and other stakeholders. What you would do
- Supervise and coordinate project staff and liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare designs and blueprints per project specifications.
- Manage project budgets, procure equipment and materials, and ensure efficient resource use.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones and prepare regular status reports.
- Design, develop and maintain sustainable engineering projects and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and develop practical solutions to project challenges.
- Assess project risks, material requirements, labour needs, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and maintain technical files, project records, drawings and required documentation.
