Tendering and Design Electrical Engineer

About this role

Mikano International Limited is recruiting for a Tendering and Design Electrical Engineer to work on construction projects in Lagos. The role focuses on ensuring designs meet technical, safety and budget requirements, while delivering cost-effective engineering solutions. The candidate will oversee design, development and execution of projects, coordinating with clients, contractors and other stakeholders. The company operates in power generation, real estate and construction sectors and provides services such as sales, maintenance, and assembly of power generation products. What you would do

• Provide technical guidance and develop practical solutions to project challenges.
• Assess project risks, material needs, labour requirements and cost estimates.
• Manage, design, develop and maintain sustainable engineering projects and infrastructure.
• Monitor project progress, milestones and prepare status reports.
• Supervise, mentor and coordinate project staff and liaise with stakeholders.
• Conduct technical and feasibility studies and prepare designs and blueprints.
• Prepare and maintain technical files, project records and drawings.
• Manage project budgets and procure equipment and materials.
• Ensure efficient resource utilisation.
• Ensure designs comply with specifications, quality, safety and budget requirements.
