About this role

This is a Technology/IT Auditor role at First Bank of Nigeria Limited in Lagos. The job involves conducting IT process and controls reviews, identifying technology risks, evaluating IT general and application controls including cybersecurity controls, and reporting findings to management. What you would do

• Conduct reviews of technology processes, systems, infrastructure and security controls.
• Identify technology risks and assess the adequacy of mitigating controls.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls, application controls and cybersecurity controls.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry standards.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Monitor remediation efforts and validate closure of audit findings.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, accounting, cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT audit, information security, risk management or related areas.
• Good understanding of technology risks, IT controls, cybersecurity practices and regulatory requirements.
• Experience performing audits in financial services or other regulated industries is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM or related certifications will be an advantage.
• Key competency in IT Audit Risk Assessment.
