Techno-Commercial Biomedical Engineer
About this role
Unify Facility Management seeks a techno-commercial biomedical engineer to handle tender activities and sales support for medical, laboratory and IVD equipment in Nigeria. The role targets professionals with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience who can assist with sales, client acquisition, quotations, datasheets and certificates, as well as technical demonstrations and presentations. Responsibilities include supporting sales and marketing for lab equipment, coordinating with OEMs for quotations and documentation, handling equipment specifics (clinical chemistry, hematology, PCR, immunoassay systems), and assisting with costing, pricing and tender documents. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field, knowledge of IVD regulations, and strong coordination and communication skills. Experience with OEM documentation and commercial proposals is desired, and OEM training is a plus.
What you would do
- Support sales and marketing for lab equipment and client acquisition
- Coordinate with OEMs for quotations, datasheets, and certificates
- Handle equipment such as clinical chemistry, hematology, PCR and immunoassay systems
- Assist in costing, pricing, product demos and technical presentations
- Track, review and prepare tender documents, compliance matrices and bids

- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2 to 8 years of experience in medical or laboratory equipment, preferably in tendering or techno-commercial roles
- Strong knowledge of IVD regulations, calibration and validation processes
- Strong coordination, analytical, documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Experience with OEM documentation and commercial proposals
- OEM training is preferred (examples include Roche, Abbott, Siemens, Mindray)
