What you would do
- Carry out vehicle conversion, repair and maintenance activities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
- Conduct quality and safety inspections before vehicle handover
- Prepare repair reports and keep accurate technical records
- Install, test and maintain EV components and systems
- Provide technical support at stations and field locations as required
- Ensure proper use and accountability of tools and spare parts
What they are asking for
- OND, HND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Auto Electrical, Mechatronics or related field
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in vehicle repairs, auto electrical work, EVs, motorcycles/tricycles, fleet maintenance, generator/power systems or mechanical workshop operations
- Experience with batteries, motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, fabrication or tricycle maintenance is an added advantage
- Ability to follow technical instructions, maintain repair logs and communicate technical issues clearly
