Technical SEO Writer
About this role
Role involves creating, optimising and managing SEO-focused content to drive organic traffic and conversions. Targeted at candidates with experience in SEO writing and content creation, preferably with technical SEO understanding, based in Lagos.
What you would do
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, CTR and content performance
- Write and optimise SEO content including blogs, landing pages, service pages and guides
- Conduct keyword, SERP, competitor and search intent research
- Implement on-page SEO, internal linking and content structuring
- Use AI tools for research, content creation and optimisation while maintaining quality
- Conduct content audits and optimise existing content
What they are asking for
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SEO writing, content writing or digital marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field
- Excellent research, writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, search intent, SERP analysis and on-page SEO
- Experience with AI content tools and CMS platforms such as WordPress is an advantage
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Surfer SEO or similar
