Technical Sales Manager
About this role
HYT Consulting is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in Lagos. The role targets candidates with technical or engineering backgrounds who can drive sales of industrial water treatment chemicals, equipment and solutions and build client relationships across industries. What you would do
- Drive sales of industrial water treatment chemicals and equipment
- Develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Provide technical solutions for RO plants, boilers, cooling towers, water softening, filtration and wastewater systems
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations and tenders
- Conduct water analysis, system audits, troubleshooting and performance evaluations
- Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with technical teams for project delivery
What they are asking for
- BSc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Engineering or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in industrial technical sales
- Knowledge of industrial water treatment systems and processes
- Strong technical, commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Willingness to travel when required
