About this role
A multinational company specialising in vehicles, industrial equipment and power generators is hiring for Technical Sales Engineers to cover roles in Lagos, with other locations including Abuja and Port Harcourt. The role focuses on promoting and selling heavy equipment and forklifts by understanding customer needs and offering suitable technical and commercial solutions. The employer operates in the automotive, industrial equipment and power generation sectors and collaborates with service and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The position offers a monthly remuneration in the range of ₦400,000 to ₦800,000.
What you would do
- Identify business opportunities and specify equipment to meet customers' operational needs.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and negotiate sales.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Coordinate with service and after-sales teams to support customer satisfaction and repeat business.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Agricultural Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ relevant technical sales experience.
- Experience in heavy equipment, forklifts, industrial machinery or material-handling equipment is highly desirable.
