About this role
A full-time Technical Sales Engineer/Specialist for construction and heavy machinery based in Lagos. The role targets candidates with proven sales experience in earthmoving and related equipment and established relationships in the construction sector.
What you would do
- Sell earthmoving and construction equipment to construction industry customers
- Develop and manage relationships with contractors and projects
- Present and negotiate equipment solutions to clients
- Meet sales targets and contribute to business development
- Coordinate with internal teams on product needs and quotes
- Maintain knowledge of equipment specifications and market trends
What they are asking for
- HND or B.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or related field
- 6–8 years of technical sales experience in construction/heavy machinery
- Proven track record in B2B equipment sales and client relationship management
- Experience selling equipment such as heavy trucks, excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, dumpers
- Strong technical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Direct experience with earthmoving/heavy machinery sales is mandatory
