Technical Sales Engineer (Gas Turbine & Turbomachinery)

A Technical Sales Engineer role based in Lagos, focused on gas turbines and turbomachinery. What you would do
- Develop and pursue sales opportunities for gas turbines, rotating equipment and oil and gas equipment such as multiphase pumps and compressors
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through tendering, negotiation and contract award
- Build and maintain customer relationships across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sector
- Provide technical sales support and service input for turbomachinery and rotating equipment
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders and proposals with internal teams
- Deliver customer-focused technical solutions and aftermarket support that meet client specifications
- Track pipeline activity, forecasts and market intelligence to inform sales strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and site visits
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in gas turbines and rotating equipment sales and service
- At least 3 years' direct experience within upstream, midstream or downstream oil and gas
- Proven record of developing opportunities from prospecting through tendering, negotiation and contract award
- Experience in oil and gas equipment sales (multiphase pumps and compressors)
- Possession of a Master's degree (preferred)
- COREN or NSE registration (preferred)
- Experience with aftermarket sales and field service (preferred)
