Technical Sales Engineer

What you would do
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, quotations, negotiations, and sales follow-ups
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, construction companies and relevant customers
- Monitor customer needs, market activities and opportunities within the territory
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve sales targets
- Drive sales of construction and heavy machinery within the territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities among construction industry customers
- Sell and provide technical information on earthmoving and construction equipment

- 6–8 years of relevant sales experience
- BEng/BSc/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Automobile Engineering
- Willing to travel for customer visits and be target-driven
- Experience selling or exposure to equipment such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, dumpers, and heavy wide-body trucks
- Experience in earthmoving/heavy machinery or construction-related equipment
- Proven sales experience in the construction industry and exposure to construction industry customers
- Strong communication, negotiation, customer relationship and business development skills
