Technical Procurement Supervisor - Project
About this role
A role supporting the Technical Procurement Manager in project and operational procurement for Beta Glass, with a focus on machinery, equipment, spares and technical services. Targeted at candidates with a technical and procurement background, preferably from manufacturing, who can manage supplier activities and project workflows.
What you would do
- Coordinate RFQs and bid evaluations (technical and commercial).
- Place purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to meet project milestones.
- Expedite supplier activities to align with production schedules and deliveries.
- Prepare and consolidate procurement and CAPEX reports, highlighting status and risks.
- Maintain procurement and project trackers and provide periodic status updates.
- Participate in plant visits and project meetings to understand requirements and drive procurement actions.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 4 to 6 years in procurement, with technical procurement experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ERP software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
- Strong technical knowledge related to procurement of machinery, equipment and services.
