Technical Officer

What you would do
- Monitor and maintain technical equipment, machinery, systems and facilities
- Carry out routine inspections and identify faults or potential problems
- Install, test, service and repair equipment as required
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement solutions
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections and performance
- Coordinate with external technicians or contractors as needed
- Respond to technical faults and operational breakdowns
- Investigate root causes of recurring problems and propose improvements
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules and incident reports and update management

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Relevant technical certification is an added advantage
- 4 to 6 years of relevant technical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and technical operations
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
