Technical Facility Manager
About this role
Relief360 Limited is seeking a hands-on Technical Facility Manager to oversee facility operations in Lagos, providing routine maintenance and repairs. The role involves inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnosing and fixing faults in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building systems, and monitoring equipment such as generators and pumps. The manager will maintain asset registers, work orders and maintenance reports, and coordinate specialist contractors while ensuring safety compliance. The position is full-time and onsite. Candidates should have practical troubleshooting skills, a technical qualification in electrical or mechanical fields, and several years of relevant experience.
What you would do
- Conduct inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Diagnose and resolve routine electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building faults
- Monitor facility equipment including generators, pumps and water treatment systems
- Maintain asset registers, work orders and maintenance reports
- Coordinate specialist contractors and ensure safety standards are met
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate maintenance needs and progress through reports
- Support on-site facility operations and issue resolution
- Assist with building maintenance planning and documentation
What they are asking for
- OND or HND in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent qualifications)
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- Strong practical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Good organisational, communication and reporting abilities
- Experience in facility or building maintenance is an advantage
