About this role
Role: Technical Assistant to the CEO for a client in the Oil & Gas sector, engaged by Westfield Consulting Limited. Based in Warri, Delta, it is a full-time position providing technical, analytical and operational support to the CEO to implement directives and drive compliance, innovation and growth. It is suitable for professionals with experience in oil and gas, waste management or environmental consultancy.
What you would do
- Prepare reports, presentations and technical briefs to support CEO decision-making across petroleum, waste management and environmental consultancy sectors.
- Monitor and evaluate projects in petroleum products marketing, pollution control, haulage and marine services to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Conduct industry research on emerging technologies, environmental regulations and sustainability practices relevant to oil and gas and waste management.
- Liaise with government agencies, regulators, clients and partners to maintain compliance and foster business relationships.
- Identify process improvements in petroleum supply chains, waste management systems and marine logistics.
- Draft technical documents, policy briefs and environmental impact assessments for executive and regulatory use.
What they are asking for
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Petroleum Studies or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in oil & gas, waste management or environmental consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks (DPR, NESREA, NIMASA).
- Excellent skills in data analysis, project management and technical writing.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication for reports, presentations and stakeholder engagement.
