Technical & AI Programmes Coordinator
About this role
Rise Networks in Lagos is seeking a Technical & AI Programmes Coordinator to lead the design, development, coordination and delivery of AI, data, technology and digital transformation programmes. The role requires a strategic, technically proficient professional with strong programme management and stakeholder skills who can translate AI opportunities into impactful programmes and learning experiences. It is suitable for someone with several years’ experience in AI or technology project leadership and a track record of working with technical teams and partners.
What you would do
- Lead the design and implementation of AI, data, technology and digital transformation programmes.
- Translate programme objectives into technical requirements, work plans, roadmaps and provide technical direction to teams.
- Coordinate the development, testing, deployment and evaluation of AI-enabled solutions, ensuring quality and impact.
- Oversee end-to-end programme management, including frameworks, timelines, budgets, milestones and KPIs, and monitor risks.
- Design and deliver AI and technology training programmes, including curricula, workshops and practical projects.
- Build strategic partnerships with tech companies, universities, government bodies, funders and other ecosystem partners; represent Rise Networks at events and contribute to proposals and business development.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in AI, technology, or programme management.
- Proven track record leading technology or AI-focused projects and programmes.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical applications; familiarity with Generative AI, large language models, AI APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, data analytics, and automation.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, developers, data professionals, researchers, or technology partners.
- Strong project and programme management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, monitoring and reporting.
- Proficiency with technical tools such as Python, SQL, Git/GitHub, cloud platforms, APIs, and Power BI; familiarity with Jira, Notion, Asana, Trello or Monday.com is an advantage.
