Team Lead Security
About this role
The role is for a Team Lead Security at Hyatt in Lagos. It involves supervising daily security operations to protect guests, staff, visitors and Hyatt assets, with knowledge of security management, safety standards, fire and life safety systems, emergency procedures and risk assessment. The successful candidate will lead the security team, enforce policies, and foster a safety-focused culture across the property.
What you would do
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Security Officers
- Protect guests, colleagues, visitors and company assets
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of all property areas
- Monitor CCTV, access control and security equipment
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Manage lost and found procedures per policy
- Promote compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify hazards
- Lead fire safety initiatives and checks of firefighting equipment
- Coordinate safety awareness and emergency preparedness programs for colleagues
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent
- Professional certification in Security Management or Occupational Health & Safety is an advantage
- 3-5 years of security experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in hospitality, hotel or service industry preferred
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and accident investigations
