About this role
Lead and mentor a backend engineering team responsible for lending and credit products at FairMoney. The role focuses on technical direction, system design, and reliable, scalable backend services, with collaboration across Product, Data, Risk, and other teams.
What you would do
- Lead and develop a team of software engineers
- Own technical direction and delivery for lending systems
- Define technical solutions and delivery priorities with cross-functional teams
- Design, build and scale backend services and distributed systems
- Set standards for code quality, testing, deployment, observability and reliability
- Support incident management, perform root-cause analysis and guide improvements

- 7+ years in software engineering with strong backend experience in Golang
