Source Microfinance Bank in Lagos is hiring a Team Lead for Consumer Lending (Telesales) to oversee the bank's telesales activities within the Credit Department. What you would do
- Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the Telesales team to meet or exceed monthly lending targets.
- Drive 100% team target achievement through performance management, planning, monitoring, and coaching.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase loan applications, conversions, and quality disbursements while upholding credit and KYC standards.
- Build and manage lead-generation channels and partnerships to sustain consumer lending volumes and maintain a robust pipeline.
- Monitor performance metrics (leads generated, conversion rates, applications, approvals, disbursements, repayment, and portfolio quality) and coach accordingly.
- Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Risk, IT, and Business Development to resolve bottlenecks and improve lending turnaround time.

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years' experience in consumer lending, telesales, digital lending, banking, microfinance, fintech, or related financial services with proven team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing telesales teams.
- Strong understanding of consumer lending processes including loan origination, customer acquisition, KYC, credit processes, and portfolio management.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and disbursement targets.
- Strong lead-generation, business development, partnerships, and customer acquisition skills.
