About this role
A role for an experienced Practice & Technical Support Manager - Tax Practice to lead the tax team, ensure quality delivery of tax engagements, manage client relationships, and support growth of the Tax Practice in Lagos. The position reports to the Managing Partner and requires strong technical tax knowledge and leadership.
What you would do
- Review tax computations, advisory work, and compliance across CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE and related taxes
- Provide technical guidance on Nigerian tax laws and directives
- Manage client engagements from onboarding to completion with timely, high-quality delivery
- Review engagement files, tax opinions, reports and client submissions for accuracy
- Coordinate tax audits, investigations, queries, objections, and correspondence with tax authorities
- Monitor workload, performance, utilisation and professional development of the team; prepare monthly management reports and support business development
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting or related field
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) is mandatory
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant tax experience in advisory, accounting or consultancy
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
