Tank Jack Operator
About this role
Piecurve Energy Projects Limited is seeking an experienced Tank Jack Operator to run a double piston tank jacking system in support of tank rehabilitation projects. The role involves operating and monitoring the equipment during lifting and lowering, following approved plans and safety procedures. The operator will work with the tank jacking supervisor, rigging team, and other site personnel to ensure coordinated and safe lifting operations. Candidates should have proven experience with double piston jacking systems and a solid understanding of HSE requirements and lifting processes. Training or certification in tank jacking is advantageous.
What you would do
- Operate double piston tank jacking equipment during lifting and lowering operations.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure equipment is safe to use.
- Coordinate with the tank jacking supervisor, rigging team, and mechanical team for synchronized lifting.
- Monitor hydraulic pressure, lifting levels, equipment performance and load distribution.
- Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements and Permit-to-Work requirements.
- Identify and report equipment defects, unsafe conditions and abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and report incidents or near misses.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and industry standards.
