About this role
Axios is looking for a senior leader to oversee product, design and AI Enablement across the company. The SVP, Product will decide how products, platforms and workflows are built and prioritised, ensuring AI-enabled ideas become durable, supported products. The role covers Axios’ products and internal tools from the CMS to sites and newsletters, plus editorial, revenue and operations platforms, and emerging AI solutions. The goal is to establish a company-wide model for what to build, and to turn experiments into lasting products with clear governance and accountability. The position requires partnering with senior leaders, shaping the product vision in a rapidly evolving tech landscape, and guiding a high-performance product and design organisation.
What you would do
- Lead Product, Design, and AI Enablement, setting strategy, priorities, decision rights, and operating cadence
- Translate emerging technologies and opportunities into credible product choices and experiments
- Collaborate with business leaders to convert company goals into product opportunities, outcomes, and investment decisions
- Raise the product management bar through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability
- Create a path from promising experiments to durable, supported products
